Eyeliner aftercare.
Caring for your new eyeliner.
A cold compress may be used to soothe your eyes and reduce swelling.
Cleanse your eyelids each morning and evening with aftercare cleanser. Apply a single drop of cleanser to clean, wet hands and lather. Gently cleanse the eyelids, making sure to rinse away all cleanser when finished. Pat eyelids dry and allow to air dry for 15 minutes before applying aftercare ointment. Never put ointment on a wet or damp tattoo!
Apply a very thin layer of aftercare ointment 2-3 times per day using clean hands or a q-tip. Avoid getting ointment in eyes.
Avoid exposure to dust, debris or pet dander for 5 days.
Sleep on a clean pillowcase.
Do NOT rub, pick or scratch your eyelids during healing and never touch with dirty hands.
No facials, botox, chemical treatments, microdermabrasion, tanning, or direct sun exposure for 4 weeks. Wear a hat or sunglasses when spending time outdoors.
No tweezing, waxing, hot or sweaty exercise, steamy hot showers, swimming, or sleeping on your face for 10 days.
No topical makeup or sunscreen on your eyelids for 2 weeks. Applying sunscreen daily once healed will prolong the life of your permanent makeup.
Avoid cleansers and skincare products containing acids or exfoliants on your eyelids until fully healed.
Avoid direct shower spray on your eyelids for 10 days. Rinse shampoos and conditioners away from your face.
Wait 2 weeks before re-applying lash extensions.

Follow-up Appointment
It is highly recommended that you return for your follow-up appointment in 4-8 weeks. This appointment provides an opportunity to correct any issues that arise throughout the healing process and make any desired adjustments. Your artist may notice potential issues that you are unable to see! Any touch-ups requested more than 12 weeks after your initial appointment are considered a refresh.
Refresh Appointments
Most permanent makeup will fade and require a refresh every 2-5 years. Color shift may also occur as the body attempts to metabolize the implanted pigment. This is normal and can be easily corrected with a neutralizing pigment shade during your refresh.
